Stranger Things is a Netflix original series created by brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, released in 2016. It blends science fiction, suspense, horror, and 80s nostalgia.
The story takes place in the small, fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, in the 1980s. It all begins when a boy named Will Byers mysteriously disappears. His friends—Mike, Dustin, and Lucas—set out to find him and eventually encounter Eleven, a girl with telekinetic powers who escaped from a secret laboratory.
As the mysteries progress, they discover the existence of the Upside Down, a parallel dimension inhabited by monstrous creatures, and realize that Will's disappearance is linked to secret government experiments.
